Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Charlotte, North Carolina and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Drive software development and implementation services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs, utilizing SAP products. Synthesize overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant SAP tools and techniques to meet specific requirements, including business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs.

Drive the design, configuration, test, and support of SAP business modules to develop technical objects, including module and reports. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

• 50% Travel required nationally

• Telecommuting permitted

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

• Utilizing SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) to drive software development and implementation services of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Central Component (ECC), and SAP S/4HANA (Business Suite 4 High-performance Analytic Appliance);

• Driving various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for SAP implementation, which include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues, using Remedy, Atlassian Jira, HP Application Lifecycle Managament (ALM) and Solution Manager (SolMan);

• Building, configuring and monitoring interfaces to integrate SAP Intermediate Documents (IDoc), Proxy, SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), OData (Open Data Protocol), Remote Function Call (RFC), SAP Workflows, Process Orchestration, and Cloud Platform Integration (SCPI,) with 3rd party systems;

• Driving the creation of technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Visio, PowerPoint, and TextPad;

• Developing Technical Design Documents (TDD) from Functional Design Documents (FDD) for various Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Form objects utilizing Userexits, Business Add-In (BAdI), BAPI (Business Application programming Interface), Application Link Enable (ALE), Business Rule Framework Plus (BRF+), Adobe Forms, Smartforms, and Web Dynpro;

• Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients, utilizing SAP Migration Cockpit, and Accelerated SAP (ASAP), Agile methodology, and MS Visio;

• Performing product life cycle management design and development using SAP Web Integrated Development Environment (IDE), Eclipse, Core Data Services (CDS) Views, ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), NetWeaver Portal, Master Data Governance (MDG), and Screen Personas; and,

• Building and developing software integration production and developing software modules using ABAP 7.55, Business Technology Platform (BTP), Fiori on SAP UI5, Gateway, Netweaver Business Client (NWBC) and SuccessFactors.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week.
