Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides development, subject matter expertise, and support for Accelerated Technologies (AT) Data Products applications. Ensures adequate support for AT Data Products and all integrations into potential systems, including coordination and assistance with the product implementation and issue resolution and working with the and assistance with the product implementation and issue resolution, and working with the appropriate HCA teams (e.g. Case Management, Clinical Systems, Client Support Services, DBA, etc.) and appropriate Vendor application resources as necessary.

Analyzes business problems/opportunities in the context of requirements and recommends and develops solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. Recommends changes to core data products infrastructure, current business/clinical processes, policies, and information systems that provide recognized business value. Works with other key project team members to define requirements, design the functional solution, identify and escalate project issues, and ensure the data products solution meets requirements.

  • Provides expertise and leads in process design and communicating requirements to product development, external solution providers, testing, and education/training.

  • Act as a Product Analyst for multiple data products and project integrations, including requirements gathering, solution design, data architecture, product development, and UAT testing.

  • Elicits and documents business, user, functional and non-functional requirements and needs.

  • Lead requirements validation and feasibility analysis with respect to data products

  • Create and socialize high-level and detailed design specification that will enable and support troubleshooting activities.

  • Estimate work effort required in delivering data products.

  • Accurately report issues and status to leadership.

  • Effectively troubleshoot technical components and lead resolution efforts across various product team functions.

  • Possess experience with and actively promote different phases of testing (unit testing, integration testing, performance testing).

  • Possess excellent communication skills to interface with various stakeholders from business consumer to technical staff.

  • Become a trusted partner for development teams from initial design to deployment of enterprise services and products.

  • Research and become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for multiple products including but not limited to source systems data flow, product - user interaction, communication with external business partners.

  • Build and support BI tools for analysis in support of data products/solutions.

  • Mentor junior members of the team on key best practices and just in time support.

  • Create, lead, and promote troubleshooting activities.

  • Be a subject matter expert for assigned products/applications/models.

  • Lead assignments involving the use of various technologies both old and new.

  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Lead the performance of moderate and complex troubleshooting activities / maintenance assignments within the department.

  • Establish, drive, and deliver within preestablished deadlines.

  • Provide after-hours/on-call support as needed.

  • Resolve simple to complex production support issues.

  • Build strong relationships within department and with other project team members.

  • Identify and implement ways to improve how and what we develop.

  • Take ownership of responsibilities, working individually or with teams to accomplish goals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a product analyst capacity.
  • 3+ years SQL experience required
  • Google BigQuery preferred.
  • Ability to effectively lead multidisciplinary product teams.

  • Strong understanding of Product Management principles

  • Strong understanding and experience working in an Agile environment.

  • BI tool experience required

  • QlikSense preferred
  • Strong understanding of multiple relational database systems (Google BigQuery, Teradata, SQL Server, Postgres, Cloud SQL, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of multiple programming languages (Python, Bash, Javascript, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of Linux operating systems.

  • Able to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data from different source systems.

  • Able to design and develop scalable solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements

  • Able to effectively facilitate diverse groups of people in a problem-solving environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership skills working with diverse and complex projects.

  • Detail oriented and analytical with good organization skills.

  • Must have the ability to prioritize multiple activities and tasks simultaneously and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

  • Strong problem and issue resolution experience and create quality deliverables.

  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with individuals at various levels within the organization.

  • Highly motivated and be able to work independently with little supervision.

  • Ability to design and lead product support activities.

  • Ability to train team members on existing and new analytical and product concepts.

  • Able to proactively identify dependencies and mitigate risks across multiple products.
