Consulting Network Engineer II

JOB SUMMARY:

The Consulting Network Engineer II (CNE II) delivers outcomes to clients via consulting/professional services engagements stemming from projects/SOWs. Zivaro will have opportunities for Consulting Network Engineers that can range from assessments and health-checks to deployments and/or optimization of the technology/ies being delivered. In this role, Consulting Network Engineers will find themselves implementing the efforts and activities of other Zivaro technical teams (sales engineers, solution architects) efforts and SOWs as well as coordinate with the Zivaro project management and customer team members to ensure effective project delivery.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Consulting with fellow Zivaro engineers, project managers and operations team to provide technical expertise and/or operational recommendations

• Evaluate through networking expertise customer's current processes, technology, etc. and identify key areas for improvement within the scope of the SOW and/or subsequent engagements

• Provide clear, concise, and timely communication of projects' status to customers, supervisor, and project managers

• Work with client and sales teams to identify and position follow on engagements to help customers mature their specific business or mission outcome via subsequent professional services needs

• Implementing high quality solutions with extreme attention to detail in delivery and documentation.

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Zivaro is looking for a person who holds a minimum of a mid-level technical Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certificate, preferably a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP). Furthermore, this person has experience consulting with other companies on technical subjects to optimize profitability and efficiency and drive outcomes.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 4+ years

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred

U.S. Citizenship is required for most positions at Zivaro, due to security clearance and government/federal contracts held by Zivaro.
