The Medtech Manager in the Life Sciences practice must demonstrate performance in the following:
Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning, organize resources, develop work plans and coordinate daily project delivery and execution, drive to strategic implications, manage preparation of client deliverables, including data analyses, quality reviews and presentations, and deliver recommendations to the client
Client Relationship Management: Maintain existing Medtech client relationships within our current network across Medtech companies and investors, but also build and manage successful new client relationships generating positive client feedback on quality, value, innovation, delivery, and results of our team
Managing and Leading Teams: Effectively direct, train, coach, motivate and evaluate analysis of the supportive team in a Medtech project setting, which may include both Associates and Analysts globally, including all elements of Huron's performance management process.
Analytical: Strong time management and organizational skills, ability to lead team efforts in developing solutions for complex client situationsin an evolving Medtech marketplace
Communication and Executive Disposition: Effective written and verbal communication with internal and client audiences
Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to apply strategic frameworks to develop innovative strategies and new commercial models for our clients who are seeking to transform their businesses
Practice Development: Help develop tools and methodologies to successfully deliver client work, and participate in talent development of our broader Life Sciences team, including recruiting and internal training and development, authoring white papers, webinars, etc.
Minimum of 7-10 years' professional work experience; managing complex team-based strategic engagements in a life sciences consulting environment or relevant industry (preferably a Medtech company)
Deep Medtech industry market knowledge across medical devices, diagnostics, and /or capital equipment, with knowledge of digital health market a plus
Demonstrated experience in developing corporate / franchise growth strategy, commercial strategy, market access strategy, portfolio strategy (including financial modeling), and/or conducting due diligence for global Medtech companies or investors
Comfort with ambiguous, challenging situations where you may be required to "think on your feet" and "out of the box"
Superior communication and client relationship management skills, with demonstrated capabilities in business and practice development
Current permanent U.S. work authorization and / or ability to work in the UK
Bachelor's degree required (Engineering degree preferred)
MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred
