Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Manage the creation of innovative and transformative solutions that address supply chain needs. Oversee the creation of effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business objectives.

Manage engagement planning and budgeting by defining deliverable structure, content and delivery while managing risks and quality of delivery. Manage proposal development and oversee the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote supply chain knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

  • Telecommuting permitted.

  • Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Global Logistics, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Participating in business case analysis to understand opportunities for supply chain automations and optimizations, and help organizations deliver critical programs on the decisions of cost, schedule, performance, and risk, utilizing Agile methodology and leveraging capability assessments to identify gaps;

  • Transforming and visualizing data, evaluating business processes, and drawing insights from analysis, utilizing Celonis, PowerBI, and Tableau to provide supply chain, spend analytics, deep process visibility, data and system gaps across Source-to-Pay (S2P) systems including Coupa, and SAP;

  • Guiding teams that aim to provide supply chain leaders with strategies for sustainable supply chains, utilizing category management levers including spend control, cost reduction, process optimization, and compliance and supplier management frameworks, that optimizes supplier segmentation and relationship management approaches for sourcing optimization;

  • Participating in day to day interactions with client and functional executives and sponsors, and developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers through progress status updates and frequent reports and communications;

  • Supporting the development and documentation of internal business services processes and metrics in a manner consistent with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, utilizing Continuous Improvement (CI) principles to mitigate long standing process gaps for contract management processes and transitioning highly labor-intensive processes to competitive cost locations;

  • Working with project management frameworks including Hybrid Agile and traditional Waterfall methodologies to help clients optimize and maintain applications to maximize Return on Investment (ROI); and

  • Working across phases of the procurement transformation, including capability maturity assessment of existing buying channels, purchasing methods, policy review, tools, technology and data flows across procurement systems and potential for change across inefficient processes for product and strategy insight solutions for enterprise-level users and clients.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
