CLA offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package. We are currently seeking a Consulting Director to join our office and support our Federal outsourcing and assurance clients in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area.

Highly desired experience with internal controls, financial reporting and (OMB) Circular A-123; OMB Circulars A-134, A-136 and other OMB Circular policies

Job Requirements:

  • Familiarity with FISCAM, the General Accounting and Finance System, etc.

  • Demonstrates proven expertise and understanding of the development of organizational options for strategic planning, including the design of financial and operational metrics

  • Experience with financial management federal policies, systems and procedures for personnel, acquisition, etc.

  • Ability to extract raw data from systems, reconcile and analyze extracted data

  • Ability to identify and address client needs, develop and sustain deep client relationships through networking, etc. Must be able to prepare complex written and verbal materials; as well as define resource requirements, etc. Proposal experience highly desired!

  • Knowledge/skills to understand of client's business needs and turn into possible

opportunities

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 4 plus years prior experience in public accounting highly desired! Industry accounting or

advisory experience a plus

  • Strong accounting and analytical skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

  • Detail oriented & ability to multi-task
