Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Consultant in Austin, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Provide software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Help define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation.

Research user reported issues with software systems, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analyses and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Help manage the complexity inherent with technology change, from requirements planning to architecture, testing to deployment, and beyond, helping to link their IT programs to organizational goals. Drive operational efficiency by maintaining data ecosystems, sourcing analytical expertise, and providing offerings for continuous insights and improvements.

• 50% Travel required nationally.

• Telecommuting permitted.

• Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:

• Tracking implementation defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing Jira, Microsoft (MS) SharePoint, and MS Excel;

• Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models by leveraging Jira, Confluence, MS Word, MS Visio, MS Excel, Balsamiq, and Google Drawings;

• Gathering functional and technical requirements, and analyzing and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions to meet clients' needs by employing MS Teams, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio and using Agile and Waterfall methodologies;

• Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverables and status to ensure timely project delivery, and communicating updates to stakeholders through use of Jira, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS SharePoint, and MS Project;

• Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state and system processes and environments, utilizing MS Visio, MS Excel, Confluence, and MS PowerPoint;

• Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and maintenance;

• Defining requirements, use cases, product management, and functional specifications by leveraging Jira, MS Word, and Confluence, as well as using Agile methodology; and

• Assisting with driving test strategy for large-scale programs and ensuring requirements traceability throughout the system development lifecycle, utilizing MS Excel, MS Word, and MS SharePoint.
