About the Role

Love the analytical rigor of a consultancy but want to do something more creative? Focused on making brands matter at every level, Ogilvy Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, business-savvy individual who is interested in joining its team as a Global Consultant.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong interest in strategy, branding, and consulting who is eager to take on wide-ranging responsibilities and who is motivated to excel within an entrepreneurial environment. The candidate should aspire to be an advisor to business leaders and have a strong strategic brand sensibility, very strong analytical, research and presentation development skills (both written and spoken) and a highly proactive attitude. This position will provide an ambitious, team player the opportunity to develop within a cutting-edge area of consulting.

What You'll Do

  • Managing the day-to-day project engagement internally and with the client, and actively keeping communications with clients.

  • Analyzing consumer behaviors, brand strategies, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.

  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative competitor analyses.

  • Developing brand strategies and positioning recommendations.

  • Taking ownership of developing client deliverables and presentations with a strong visual aesthetic and strategic rigor.

  • Participating in client interviews, work sessions, and presentations.

  • Presenting key sections of the findings to clients.

  • Distilling powerful insights from broad datasets and diverse sources, including desktop research.

  • Managing junior team members as necessary for the successful running of project engagements.

  • Actively participating in practice management, including training, recruiting, and mentorship.

  • Helping with business development, by participating in developing new business proposals and pitches to new clients.

What You'll Need

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in an advertising/branding agency, marketing organization, or consulting firm.

  • Understand the fundamentals of brand strategy and building strong brand stories.

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint, and Keynote.

  • Able to draw critical human and cultural insights from data and observation.

  • General understanding of different research methodologies and using data to build a case.

  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills.

  • Comfort with storytelling, presenting, and engaging large groups of people.

  • Ability to take initiative and to work independently and within a team.

  • Resourceful problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

  • Strong sense of curiosity.

  • Innovative and growth-oriented mindset.

The compensation for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range

$60,000-$140,000 USD
