Consultant

Role:

Join our dynamic team as a part-time (10-20 hours per week for about 6 months) Construction Consultant, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success of a warehouse/office space construction project on our client’s mine site. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, compliant, and feasible construction solutions. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both onsite and remotely, making it perfect for professionals seeking a balance between fieldwork and remote consultations.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and evaluate construction plans for compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.

Assess the feasibility of construction projects, providing expert recommendations to ensure project success.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster effective communication and teamwork.

Utilize project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore) to track project progress and ensure timely delivery.

Conduct site visits to monitor construction activities and provide onsite support as needed.

Communicate confidently and negotiate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to address any issues and drive project success.

Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support project planning and execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in construction project management with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of construction regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Authorized to work in the US without work visa sponsorship.
