They design and deliver all kinds of training courses from lectures to lab exercises for the benefit of internal and external customers. Working closely with colleagues, tech experts, partners and customers, they shape curriculum content to suit diverse needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning and initiatives related to the education services portfolio

  • Portfolio runbook definition and ownership

  • Portfolio Management scorecard

  • Continuous improvement of business critical operational processes

  • Critical operational processes, including: annual planning, operations reviews, roadmap reviews

  • Internal communications and strategic team engagements

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent written/oral communication skills

  • Proven ability to influence others at all levels of the business

  • 5+ years of program/project management experience

  • Previous experience developing and maintaining an operations scorecard (KPI establishment, measurement, and reporting)

  • Improves continuously: anticipates and addresses gaps to prepare for future challenges

Modernizing applications to become Cloud Native and powered by end to end DevOps Enablement is a key component of this transformation. As a key member of the Dell Digital team, the DevOps Technical Product/Program manager provides leadership and expertise to deliver the various DevOps initiatives on schedule and within budget. You will plan and administer both projects and the overall program, and ensure that deliverables are completed correctly and on-time. You will also work with leadership and contribute to the technical solution to support an organization's vision and strategic direction. You will be a leader in the IT organization, and held accountable for the success of enterprise-impacting technology initiatives. Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for understanding and being able to articulate to stakeholders the end to end CI/CD Solution for automating software delivery for Cloud Native Solutions deployable on Pivotal Cloud Foundry PaaS Platform * Responsible for developing a comprehensive plan for the delivery of the DevOps solutions and capabilities, bearing in mind the overall org objectives and delivery date * Ensures constant and periodic reference to the program plans. Any deviations from the plan will only be permitted upon evidence and reason-based arguments * Deep understanding of SDLC lifecycle including security and compliance requirements * Works closely with Software delivery teams to evangelize DevOps culture and enable Automation for their applications * Strong understanding of open source and emerging technologies including Kubernetes, Pivotal Container Services (PKS) * Very strong understanding of SOX Compliance and other policies that govern change and release management of application * Acts as a liaison with other project/program managers and architects (security, infrastructure, EA and Application) and with delivery teams working primarily within an Agile and Pivotal methodology * Mentors delivery team technical project managers * Very strong and clear communications, and skilled in the art of negotiation and persuasion Role Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience (or 8 years with a Master's, degree in Computer Science is highly preferred) - Experience to include: * Product/Program management experience, including experience related to application development in either .Net or Java stack (ideally both), and DevOps related experience * Strong communication and presentation skills, including updates to executive level stakeholders * Excellent leadership and communication skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools * Excellent interpersonal skills and critical thinking skills, and demonstrated ability to maintain a good relationship with stakeholders * Good knowledge of Public cloud (either Azure or AWS) and understanding of Cloud service offerings * Good knowledge of VMware based solutions including virtualization and Cloud enablement. * Good understand of various source code repositories like TFS, Git and SVN * Experience in Cloud Native Application Architecture with working knowledge of Platform as a Service (PaaS).
