Consultant/Sr. Consultant (May Work Remote)

The Consultant will be responsible for monthly/quarterly financial reporting to include revenue and expense trending, forecasting, and variance analysis. Other duties to include weekly and/or monthly reporting, process troubleshooting, and ad hoc analysis.

The position requires the ability to remain focused and multi task in a fast paced environment performing required duties within specified timelines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the position will be required to communicate daily with multiple levels of authority within other departments. The Consultant must produce measurable business results by driving and implementing changes necessary to meet strategic business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Accounting and Financial Analysis, possess Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills, and demonstrate a positive and constructive attitude. Experience with Hyperion Financial Management is also preferred.

Desired Qualifications:

" Accounting or Finance Degree

" Strong computer skills including data manipulation using Microsoft Excel and Access " Excellent verbal and written communications skills

" Knowledge of JDE accounting system

" Strong analytical/problem solving skills

Minimum Requirements:

College degree and 5-7 years professional level experience with 1 year supervisory experience; or 9 years professional level related experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.

About the team The Systematics Core Banking Solution offers end-to-end solutions for architecture, customer information (Relationship Manager), deposits (IMPACS & Savings Time), lending (Advanced Lending Solution Servicing Manager), and financial and management reporting. What you will be doing You will be working closely with the client on all of their Deposit related applications. This will include, but not be limited to, reviewing requests for work for completeness, working with the client to ensure understanding of the requirements for all requests/incidents, working with team lead to assign work, communicating with technician to ensure proper solution is determined, tracking all outstanding requests, provide status of all outstanding work, researching client questions, as well as maintain currency of all administrative tasks. * Works individually or within a team on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirements. * Serves as liaison between end-users and consultants during consulting projects. * Expertly researches and documents client needs, technology or regulations related to system design, enhancement and acquiring hardware or software that will impact multiple platforms and/or applications. * Defines product scope, objectives and requirements. Defines specifications and data models for product development and testing. * Creates detailed specifications from which programs will be written. * Analyzes marketplace, industry, company, technology trends and best practices, vendor products and services, etc. Also analyzes system impacts to other systems and procedures. * Devises and/or modifies processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiencies and to solve most complex technical problems related to computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. * Assesses available technologies and recommends solutions to consulting team. * Writes test plans and test cases to ensure enhancements made to applications meet client needs and application integrity is maintained. * Conducts a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness and acceptance tests. May mentor, guide, advise and/or check work of less experienced business systems analysts and technology business consultants. * May play a key role in training client and technical support personnel on enhancements, new systems or procedures.
