About the Role

Love the analytical rigor of a consultancy but want to do something more creative? Focused on making brands matter at every level, Ogilvy Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, business savvy individual who is interested in joining its team as a Global Consultant.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong interest in strategy, branding, and consulting who is eager to take on wide-ranging responsibilities and who is motivated to excel within an entrepreneurial environment. The candidate should aspire to be an advisor to business leaders and have a strong strategic brand sensibility, very strong analytical, research and presentation development skills (both written and spoken) and a highly proactive attitude. This position will provide an ambitious, team player the opportunity to develop within a cutting-edge area of consulting.

What You'll Do

  • Managing the day-to-day project engagement, including the client relationship.

  • Developing breakthrough brand strategies and positioning.

  • Participating in interviews and work sessions.

  • Taking ownership of developing client deliverables and presentations with a strong visual aesthetic and strategic rigor.

  • Participating in developing new business proposals and pitches to new clients.

  • Managing junior team members as necessary for the successful running of project engagements.

  • Participating in client and external interviews and client presentations.

  • Actively participating in practice management, including training, recruiting and mentorship.

  • Analyzing brand behaviors and industry trends.

  • Conducting competitor analyses.

  • Taking an active role in communicating with clients.

  • Developing strategic recommendations.

  • Presenting key sections of the findings to clients.

  • Helping with business development.

What You'll Need

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in an advertising agency or marketing organization.

  • Understand the fundamentals of brand strategy and building strong brand stories.

  • Able to draw critical human and cultural insights from data and observation.

  • Able to translate strategy and strategic thinking from customer journeys to brand manifestos.

  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to take initiative and to work independently and within a team.

  • Resourceful problem-solving skills.

  • Strong sense of curiosity.
