Job Function Summary

The global Branding & Communications team is seeking a Brand Marketing Consultant who will be responsible for driving Millennium and WorldQuant's creative brand strategy and supporting the digital marketing strategy, including visual identity development and brand marketing. This will include overseeing the development of new visual and creative assets for use across both firms' channels and materials, including leadership executive profiles. In this role, the Consultant will also help oversee employer branding strategies targeting technology and trading, with a focus on campus and entry-level talent, as well as priority initiatives related to recruitment and culture building in collaboration with key stakeholders. This role will partner closely with the digital team and drive innovation in our approach to storytelling, while ensuring a carefully coordinated firm-wide brand strategy across both organizations.

This is an opportunity for a talented, entrepreneurial and creative individual to join an innovative team to create comprehensive brand programs utilizing a range of platforms, including traditional and digital media. The ideal candidate will be both a strategist capable of offering ideas and insights to shape the team's efforts, as well as adept at the skills required to execute and deliver results on significant projects. The ideal candidate will also have an in-depth understanding of the branding implications of complex visual identity concepts, and be happy to roll-up-sleeves to deliver in a fast-paced environment.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Devise integrated strategies for creative content programming, deployed across a variety of activation opportunities in close partnership with the global Branding & Communications leadership team

  • Oversee internal and external resources to assist in the development of creative content strategy, graphic design, video production, photography and copy writing

  • Serve as a member of the Branding & Communications leadership team overseeing the execution of new creative assets including, but not limited to, videos, social media cards, infographics, data visualizations, website copy, internal presentations and newsletters across relevant topics that are consistent with brand and business objectives

  • Maintain firm-wide brand governance

  • Provide ongoing management of company websites and related content

  • Devise visionary employer branding strategies, as well as oversee the deployment across a variety of employer touch points, with a focus on campus and entry-level talent

  • Evolve and maintain employer brand strategy and narrative

  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Human Resources and Recruiting) to enhance the candidate experience and further leverage each firm's brand identity throughout the recruitment process

  • Support purpose-driven initiatives around culture building through a comprehensive branding strategy

  • Active participation in the planning of events and building relationships with external strategic partners, including via sponsorships, thought leadership, content deployment and branded activations

  • Liaise with the Branding & Communications digital team to develop social media content for the firm and top executives

  • Support internal events and company conferences

  • Develop measurement and reporting updates and leverage findings to inform future strategies

  • Support operational and resource planning for the team, including scoping projects to prioritize resources

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Exceptional academic credentials and brand marketing/creative content experience

  • 15+ years of relevant experience, preferably with innovative companies or multidimensional brands (exposure to the financial services, investment management and/or technology industries a plus)

  • Proficiency in digital and social media marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)

  • Experience working on executive branding and social media

  • Experience overseeing the messaging and visual identity of complex branding initiatives

  • Strong track-record of efficiently managing external vendors and consultants

  • Experience developing brand guidelines and applying them to creative assets across all digital channels

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, including emerging marketing/branding trends and digital innovations

  • Experience developing strategies and creative content for executive social media presence

  • Experience working on employer branding strategies and directing the execution through a variety of digital channels and campaigns

  • Ability to work in a complex and dynamic matrix environment and manage projects independently

  • Relentless creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, with an appetite to learn our business and strategically market our employer value proposition

  • Strong executive presence and experience working with senior leadership

  • Excellent attention to design details with a commitment to accuracy, quality and professionalism

  • Exceptional research, comprehension, verbal and written communication skills with an ability to excel at creative problem-solving

  • Proven ability to contribute and execute in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks and handle time efficiently

  • Experience conducting brand reputation studies a plus

  • Experience with design and video editing software a plus (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud)

  • Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills - able to work as part of a team and individually

The estimated hourly rate for this position ranges from $80 to $145, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
