Job Title: IT-OT Technical Account Manager (Utilities and Gas Distribution Domain)

Job Summary:

The IT-OT Technical Account Manager, with an understanding of OT and IT networks, OT & IT security, PLCs, SCADA & HMI systems in the Utilities and Gas Distribution domain, is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the delivery of Information Technology and Operational Technology services in a utility and gas distribution area. This role involves managing a team of professionals (onsite\offshore), good understanding of OT technologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IT-OT service strategies aligned with the Utilities and Gas Distribution industry's specific needs.

Oversee the day-to-day operation of the IT and OT department, ensuring that systems, networks, and infrastructure are running smoothly and efficiently.

Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.

Manage IT projects from inception to completion, including planning, and implementation.

Ensure the security of company data and information systems through the implementation of robust security measures and protocols.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in information technology and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Foster a collaborative work environment to optimize Service Delivery.

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and resilient IT and OT networks.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and cybersecurity best practices.

Develop incident response and recovery plans specific to IT and OT security incidents.

Good knowledge on PLCs and SCADA systems used in utility and gas distribution operations.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure efficient control and monitoring of infrastructure.

Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including Operations and Compliance teams, to ensure IT-OT alignment.

Ensure tools and processes are implemented to monitor the performance and availability of IT-OT services.

Continuously identify opportunities for service improvements and efficiency enhancements.

Lead and mentor a team of IT and OT professionals, ensuring their continuous growth and development.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements specific to the Utilities and Gas Distribution industry.

Stay updated on changes in regulations and adapt IT-OT practices accordingly.

(1.) To architect, design and develop [through team] solution for product or sustenance delivery. (2.) To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements. (3.) To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology. (4.) To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated.
