About this Role:
The Consultant primarily works with consulting and client teams to deliver client engagements in marketing and strategy, which includes the digital business, customer experience, customer insights, and marketing optimization practice domains. This is a client-facing role, and you can expect to be heavily involved in working directly with Forrester clients on their most challenging initiatives.
The Consultant has three major responsibilities:
Lead workstreams and/or contribute to quality client project deliverables such as strategy, maturity assessments, industry analyses, road maps, and transformation programs.Help develop repeatable consulting methods and tools.Support internal initiatives aimed at building Forrester's consulting capabilities and overall business.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented and a strong team player with superior written and verbal communication skills, innate intellectual curiosity, deep analytical capabilities, and very strong project management skills.
Contribute to and lead delivery of consulting projects, including interviewing senior-level client stakeholders, analyzing client and industry data, and applying Forrester frameworks and methods to synthesize insights and develop results for clients.
Develop high-quality, well-structured, and user-friendly PowerPoint and Excel client deliverables.
Manage client and internal projects and workstreams.
Support business development and marketing efforts.
Achieve personal performance targets that contribute to consulting's overall performance.
Identify opportunities for Forrester based on feedback from clients and trends in our engagements with clients.
Three to five years of management consulting and/or industry practitioner experience.
Experience in one or more of the following areas: digital marketing, marketing strategy, marketing technology, eBusiness and eCommerce, customer experience strategy and design, customer insights and analytics.
A strong academic record of achievement; an MBA is preferred.
Experience and acumen engaging with senior-level business executives.
Strong analytical capabilities.
Formal project management experience or training.
Experience preparing compelling deliverables for clients, owning and delivering the finished product, and creating client-facing deliverables.
Superior communication and client-facing skills.
The ability to collaborate effectively with others in high-pressure situations.
Experience working with subject matter experts with deep content knowledge.
Highly motivated, energetic, and outgoing with a natural desire to accept challenges and diverse assignments.
The ability and willingness to travel on average 10 days per month.
