Provide technical and creative leadership for an emerging community of location-aware organizations.
With your technical expertise in database and system administration, the ArcGIS platform, and Geographic Information System application deployments, coupled with strong communication skills, you will help drive strategy among this growing community of users who are immersed in location data and incorporating it into their everyday decisions.
We are looking for motivated and self-directed individuals dedicated to ensuring client success by designing, building, certifying, and supporting the software used for creating enterprise solutions for ArcGIS.
Work closely with customers to identify, design, and implement key workflows using Esris ArcGIS platform.
Enable users of Esri technology to be successful through coaching on best practices of building and maintaining enterprise GIS solutions.
Communicate ArcGIS technologies to technical and non-technical customers
Ensure key workflows perform satisfactorily in multi-user environments
Define and develop methods to enhance product functionality for both raster and vector datasets
Provide security recommendations and best practices for Esri and associated technologies
Gather and document requirements for future development of Esris software products based on client feedback
Two or more years of professional experience supporting the implementation of ArcGIS Server within an enterprise environment.
Experience working directly with customers to integrate imagery technologies within GIS workflows and business processes
Proven experience with imagery data management workflows using mosaic datasets
Experience working with National Imagery Library concepts and user communities
Familiarity with space-borne, airborne, and ground based imaging systems
Hands-on experience with image processing
Experience working with a variety of GIS-related datasets and data formats
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as a GIS expert on a highly skilled team
Strong and persuasive communication skills
Strategic, creative thinking, and problem solving abilities
US citizenship and ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance
Bachelors or Masters degree in GIS, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering or other scientific field
GIS application deployment experience utilizing GEOINT datasets
Advanced proficiency with ArcGIS raster concepts (mosaic datasets and image services)
Demonstrated experience working with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and/or SQL Server databases
