Diales USA provide project commercial consultancy and expert witness services related to the forensic analysis of construction and engineering claims for delays, additional costs and quantum, disputed additional work and other relevant issues.

Our services are provided to regional and international engineering and construction companies, owners, engineering companies, financers, insurers, government agencies and contractors and clients.

Diales USA experts provide objective analysis and evidence in a clear concise manner in a number of dispute forums include Litigation, Arbitration, Dispute Boards and Mediation.

We are looking to appoint an ambitious and driven professional to join and help grow our Diales teams in the Americas.

Key duties will include:

• Analysis and review of construction and engineering documents such as construction financial information, project records, project schedules, and engineering drawings

• Assist with the analysis and preparation of claims and expert reports related to issues of delay and quantum damages

• Use of software to assist with the preparation of graphical evidence

• Use of presentation software to assist with the preparation of client deliverables.

Key candidate criteria:

• Background in engineering or construction: degree in construction management, construction engineering, engineering, or other STEM field

• 3+ years' experience in the construction or consulting industry

• Understanding of construction scheduling

• Understanding of the various principles of delay analysis

• Understanding of the construction budgeting, estimating, and cost accounting

• Experience with review of construction and engineering contracts

• Experience with MS Office and Primavera P6

• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
