Overview
The Consultant will utilize their technical education, experience, and training to support Built Environment Solutions (BES) projects for our property owner, developer, and contractor clients.

Required Skills and Abilities
Building Inspection experience is required. Structural Milestone Inspection (SMI) or Structural Integrity Reserve Study (SIRS) experience a plus.
Good report writing skills are required.
Must be able to interact and communicate with clients at all levels (e.g. internal and external) and work independently with good judgment and critical thinking skills.
Familiarity with general construction principles and processes.
Physical Demands, Overtime, and Travel Requirements
Physical Demands- Work is performed both in an office setting and at outside locations (i.e. Client's office, industrial, construction, and/or residential sites). Employee is frequently required to stand, walk on slope roofs, sit, climb ladders, bend, climb inside attics and crawl under homes and tunnels, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and drive a motor vehicle to job sites. Employee may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employee must be sharp, focused, and alert when conducting site inspections, speaking and interacting with clients, preparing written reports of findings, and testifying in deposition or trial. Clear vision and depth perception are also necessary.
Overtime- This position is classified as salaried with an exempt FLSA status. Regular working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with one hour for lunch. There will be periods where overtime will be required, which the employee will need to comply with in order to meet the demands of the position.
Travel Requirements- This position requires up to 30-40% of local or in-state travel. Out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required.
The Salary Range for this position is $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 and is dependent on education, experience, location and certifications/licensure.
