We never stand still. Business Development within Corporate Marketing provides the market analysis, competitor information and customer knowledge to evaluate new business opportunities and steer their success. Focused on growing our business outside the US, we are experts on mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and joint ventures. We use this expertise to lead the planning, design, due diligence and implementation of strategic business development objectives.
While not a quota carrying role, Business Metrics will be applied to track progress and performance.
Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Network solutions focusing on OpenSwitch and coordinate with other specialists as needed
Effectively articulate Dell EMC's Open Networking value proposition and maintain knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively differentiate the solutions
Maintain ownership of opportunities throughout the sales cycle, leading the engagement of other subject matter experts, general account executives and resources as needed
Lead extended sales team to develop territory and opportunity specific sales strategies based on technology and market trends as well as competitor's trends
Engage in business level discussions around business drivers and customer challenges
Cultivate relationships at the executive level, as well as build and broaden brand loyalty at the mid and lower levels of the Enterprise
Must have excellent hands on skills in various technologies in network, compute and storage
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Networking.
Exposed to interactions of cloud software stack with compute, network and storage with various orchestration systems
Automation skills: Ansible, python, bash
Experience in implementation of large-scale public, private or Telco cloud is highly desirable
Worked at multiple network equipment vendors and organizations operating large scale infrastructure environments.
Experience spanning multiple disciplines ranging from sales, product management, technical marketing, engineering
