As a Consultant in Cerner's Acute/Ambulatory space you will consult with clients on service line workflow, and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts, as well as provide solution oversight, direction and expertise to stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients, mitigating solution risks and issues and the execution of workflow and process improvement strategies.

Bachelor's Degree in Health Care, Business, related field or equivalent and relevant work experience
At least 4 years of software implementation work experience
At least 4 years of health care information technology consulting and/or support work experience
Must be willing to travel up to 100% as needed
Currently reside in or willing to relocate to the Kansas City metropolitan area, or reside near a major international airport
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
