Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment, ensuring adherence to specifications, schedules, and quality standards. The Superintendent will oversee jobsite paperwork, inspections, cleanliness, and site safety.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6-8 years in the construction industry or equivalent education/experience

• Minimum of 2-5 years in a senior level

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

• Completion of OSHA 10-Hour class (OSHA 30-Hour preferred)

• Strong report writing and public speaking skills

• Conversational Spanish is preferred

Examples of duties and responsibilities:

• Coordinate all inspections with local jurisdictions.

• Prepare the master job schedule in coordination with Vice President and provide a weekly update.

• Update Vice President regarding any logistical changes as job progresses to improve schedule.

• Utilize schedule with two week look ahead to anticipate needs and control project.

• Prepare additional short-term schedules, as needed, to coordinate specific work projects and convey to trades.

• Assist Vice President with detailed review of all plans and specifications.

• Manage the planning and supervision of all onsite employees and subcontractor activities, including but not limited to, determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities and deliveries, equipment requirements, temporary power sources and work schedules.

• Superintendents must uphold HSLCS safety program at all times

• Other duties as assigned.
