What you will do:

Safety, Environment, Quality:

• Instilling a culture that promotes an empowering and rewarding environment for improving safety, environment, and quality.

• Consistently engage all stakeholders (i.e., Environment, Land Services, Contractor Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, etc.) to ensure excellence in company compliance.

Execution Management:

• Plan, organize and direct field construction teams to complete US Core Programs electrical projects within the approved budgets, required deadlines, consent decree requirements and associated legal contracts while minimizing project risks.

• Responsible for the approval of all indirect labor, equipment, and material costs to improve the cost and safety efficiency of each project.

• Ensuring that all Work scopes, costs, and schedules are achieved on all projects by establishing clear execution plans.

Team Management:

• Provide strategic leadership, direction and planning of resource management (labor, equipment, materials) to achieve department objectives.

• Provide technical expertise on all field related practices and procedures.

Financial:

• Responsible for the creation of clear concise execution plans to meet construction budgets. This includes cost, scope, and schedule.

Who you are:

• Applicable University degree, College diploma, or Journey person certification. Depending on technical education, accreditations, an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 7 years + of demonstrated ability related working experience in the pipeline industry, particularly in the electrical field.

• Strong working knowledge of, industry standards, governmental regulations, construction best practices, and construction management experience.

• Effective and professional people skills, both verbal and written, with peers, management, internal/external partners, vendors, and service providers.

• Role requires a valid driver's license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.

Work Conditions:

• Office and field environment.

• Up to 70% travel to field locations, regulatory agencies, customer offices and other Company offices.

• Time commitments often extend beyond normal working hours.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
