The Construction Site Coordinator is responsible for unloading deliveries and overseeing the maintenance and general conditions of the construction site.
Unload deliveries of large equipment, inventory deliveries, assign location, mark tag number or name, and collect and distribute paperwork and packing slips to the Site Warehouse Clerk or Site Administrative Assistant.
Organize and maintain lay down areas.
Perform daily inspections of forklift, pay loader, skid steer, and complete inspection reports.
Maintain roads and lay down areas on the site, including spreading rock, light grading, and removing snow.
De-junk and clean site, empty garbage totes, organize wood and metal for recycling.
Various carpentry projects as necessary including building and installing temporary doors for construction.
Foster a culture of safe behavior and environmental compliance at all times.
Maintain a team environment at all times and champion POET in the community.
Assist the warehouse coordinator with distribution of materials to contractors, inventory materials, warehouse organization, and other duties as assigned by the site superintendent.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must have good organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
Must have general mechanical and carpentry skills.
Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently on various projects.
Experience operating a forklift, skid steer, pay loader, and other construction equipment is required.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills as well as the ability to adapt to change.
