The Service Manager is responsible for delivering service and sales to their assigned region. The role manages Service Technicians, sub-contractors, vendors, and customers. The position oversees all incoming repair requests and preventative maintenance jobs the customer gives. The part is responsible for scheduling, estimating, Service Technician management/training, and customer development. The Service Manager develops and maintains a relationship with the customer and ensures the quality of work and adherence to customer-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIss) are met.

Essential Job Functions
Management and oversight of all incoming repair requests and preventive maintenance jobs assigned to customers.
Manages Service Technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
Complies with customers priority matrix requirements and service level requirements.
Ensures that all work requests are completed on schedule and updated in customer systems.
Responsible for managing a designated budget to meet financial expectations.
Ensures timely follow-up and resolution to work exceptions.
Ensures and validates the quality of work provided.
Negotiates and enforces labor rates with service providers.
Ensures timely proposal submittals to customers.
Prepares estimates including time and materials to complete large scopes of work requiring return trips.
Assists and educates Field Service Management with minor facility troubleshooting.
Inspects systems to identify necessary repairs and provides an ongoing preventive maintenance program.
Diagnoses problems and failures in refrigeration systems to identify equipment and systems repair and replacement needs.
Requests equipment and supplies to maintain inventory and ensure availability of required items to complete the necessary installation/repair.
Works along with Technicians to evaluate their performance.
Works in collaboration with the General Manager and the Human Resource Department to implement progressive disciplinary and employee development activities.
Inspects and troubleshoots systems to identify necessary repairs.
Travels to different worksites to complete required tasks and projects.
Serves as a responsible leader through the direction and guidance of the team to ensure all safety requirements for all jobs are upheld.
Ensures proper safety rules, regulations, and incident reporting are followed.

Education, Experience, and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong technical knowledge and experience in General Building, Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC/Refrigeration commercial construction trades.
Ability to interpret architectural plans and specifications.
Positive customer focus, always considering the impact on our customer and their customers.
Ability to interact with a diverse customer roster.

Must possess or obtain an appropriate state drivers license before employment and a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
KDC offers a competitive salary/hourly range $70,000 to $101,000 per year - while considering the candidates experience and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees:
