Job Description Construction Scheduler Job Description As a Construction Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring they are properly integrated with cost and resource loading. Your expertise in P6 scheduling software will be crucial in efficiently managing construction timelines. Additionally, your knowledge of construction methods and processes will allow you to effectively collaborate with teams and clients to ensure successful project outcomes. Essential Job Functions: - Independently build and review project schedules using P6 software
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated schedules
Conduct resource and cost loading to accurately plan and manage project resources
Utilize Bluebeam and On-Screen Takeoff for efficient document management
Effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders to address scheduling concerns
Mentor and train junior staff in scheduling techniques and best practices
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in scheduling tools and technologies
Experience with 4-D Scheduling on Synchro Pro or willingness to learn Skills Required: - Related 2- or 4-year degree with 3 years of experience OR 6 years' relevant experience without degree
Proficiency in P6 scheduling software, including integrated schedules and cost/resource loading
Strong understanding of construction methods and processes
Experience using Bluebeam and On-Screen Takeoff is preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Prior experience with Deltek Acumen Fuse and/or Microsoft Project is a plus
Ability to obtain AACE International PSP or PMI-SP certifications desirable This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000, depending on experience.
