Construction Safety Manager - Per Diem Offered

Seeking a Safety Manager with OSHA 500 for a long term opportunity in Reno, NV 40/hr plus OT $90/day per diem for days worked. Current Schedule - M-F 10 hour days In this role you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting inspections, investigating incidents, and implementing safety improvement initiatives, creating a safe work environment for all employees Responsibilities:

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to promote a safe work environment Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard identification, emergency response, and proper use of personal protective equipment Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities Prepare reports on safety performance and present findings to management Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives Qualifications: Must hold OSHA 500 3 years' recent experience in the construction environment where 100% of position's day-to-day job functions entailed safety, health, and/or environmental protection.
