ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitors injury, illness, and incident related performance within the geographical / contractual area of responsibility. Monitor performance for trends or other indicators of improving or degrading incident performance, and develop and implement strategic solutions that will improve the performance results as required.

Acts as a resource to staff and internal customers as the HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) Subject Matter Expert. Provide direct and timely advise and information to the management responsible for the account, market area, or geographical region of responsibility in all matters related to HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) performance, compliance, trends, and concerns. Implements all corporate HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) initiatives, and communicate all corporate HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) priorities in a manner that effectively drives program consistency and effectiveness across the account, market area, or geographical region of responsibility.

Oversee the specific HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) plans, playbooks, and procedures for the account, market area, or geographical region of responsibility to make certain they are current, complete, and effectively implemented.

Monitors HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) regulatory compliance within the account, market area, or geographical / contractual area of responsibility. Communicates all findings, concerns, and deficiencies to the responsible managers to effect timely and necessary corrections. Develops and implements strategic solutions that will support management's efforts to improve and maintain compliance as required.

Identifies opportunities to reduce costs while enhancing quality of services.

Responses to client employee concerns regarding HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) matters.

Supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Client Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and client policies and procedures.

Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.

Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff.

Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Minimum of 8 years of related experience.

Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state and local health and safety, and environmental regulations is essential. Direct experience dealing with regulatory agencies and / or compliance officers is required.

Experience working in any one or multiples of the following is essential: Chemical processing and refining environments, manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical / biotechnology, construction, heavy industry, and facility maintenance and management.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

As required by local authority (if required). Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) - Preferred

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues.

Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures.

Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.

VIEW JOBS 12/5/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-05T00:00 Facebook is seeking an experienced Logistics Analyst to focus on Data Center Field and Warehouse operational processes. The logistics team is responsible for the warehousing and shipping of inventory to support the build and sustaining operations of new and existing FB Data Centers. The team also provides support to supply chain operations, IT and labs for international shipments, and inventory management (staging for deployment, end of life scrapping) as needed. In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with Data Center Engineers/Technicians and our external logistics provider to develop requirements and processes, implement processes pertaining to shipping, receiving and inventory management. Work with the central team in MPK and rest of the regional coordinators on process consistency. Support the testing and rollout of projects. Provide weekly status reports on operations and projects. Oversee relationship with vendor employees at local region to ensure timely execution of plans and service delivery. Track and manage regional operations to an agreed upon metrics and escalate to the central team if any operational issues. RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage contracted services to facilitate the completion of all aspects of material movement for all consigned and FB-owned inventory in region. Help produce monthly Audits of Compliance to ensure meeting all inventory controls. Support month and quarter end requirements to ensure appropriate financial reporting. Drive inventory reconciliation process to identify risk, manage obsolescence, and reserve appropriately. Proactively monitor system interfaces with external suppliers to identify and correct any errors that impact product movements. Manage materials and inventory in a manner consistent with the requirements of Facebook. Help manage ongoing KPI's to measure supplier/Facebook Logistics performance. Work closely with the central team to understand business requirements, implement new processes, and contribute to ongoing process improvements. Resolve project issues and coordinate appropriate escalation. Assist in maintaining the dashboards and index reports to drive improvement and trending metrics. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * 3+ years' experience in logistics or supply chain management Experience in as-is/to-be business process mapping, gap analysis, requirements elicitation and data analysis Experienced in cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams Experience working independently and managing time Experienced handling PM responsibilities (prioritization, planning, scheduling, status reporting) Experience with systems such as Oracle, Excel or any other analytics tools Communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, business or related field 3+ years related experience in a production IT environment Facebook Altoona IA
