Overview

Doyon Government Group (DGG) provides Design-Build and General Construction Services on demolition, new construction, renovations, repairs, and civil projects at government-owned facilities and military installations.

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Quality Control - Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing various construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles, excellent project management skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review engineering plans, specifications, and drawings

  • Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and technical due diligence

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and compliant with regulations

  • Provide technical guidance to on-site teams

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities

  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction

  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and any changes

Qualifications:

Must be one of the following:

  • Graduate Civil Engineer+ 2 years professional civil construction experience ...or

  • Construction Manager with a Professional Engineer (PE) registration+ 2 years professional civil construction experience ...or

  • Civil Engineer Technician with 5 years of professional experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is generally sedentary, requiring routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing up to forty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Occasional travel required.

SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary range for this position is $90,000-$150,000 per year. Exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, education, certifications, and work location. Employees are eligible to enroll in medical, vision, dental, flexible spending, employee assistance program, group and voluntary life and disability insurance and 401(k) retirement plan. Paid Time Off, 10 paid holidays, 5 bereavement and 10 jury duty paid leave.
