Summary:
The Construction Project Engineer will serve as the Cook Childrens building infrastructure representative on all construction/renovation projects that involves the assessment or modification to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, telecommunications and/or other building infrastructure systems. This leader will collaborate with the construction/renovation project management team and organizational leaders on the development and execution of effective means and methods for designing, constructing and commissioning projects at Cook Children's.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Engineering or 10 years managing facility infrastructure systems in a healthcare setting.
5 years of construction experience in an acute hospital setting is required.
Certification/Licensure:
Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM).
American Society of Healthcare Engineers Construction Management Certification (preferred).
Licensure in MEPF trade is required.
