Your role as a Project Manager Intern

Our mission is to provide college students with on the job experience and knowledge of the construction process. As a Project Manager intern you will be given hands on opportunities to turn classroom lessons into real life skills in the construction industry.

Throughout the internship, you will have expose to all aspects of a project, start to finish, including the following:


  • Estimating

  • Job contracts

  • Permits and insurance certificates

During Construction:

  • Safety

  • Purchasing

  • Submittals

  • Tracking materials & equipment

  • Field personal tracking

  • Productivity tracking

  • Change order submittals and tracking

Job Closeout:

  • Project closeout O&M manuals

  • As-recording drawings warranties

What we're looking for in you

  • Must be a current student working toward degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in the construction industry and project management

  • Ability to read and comprehend construction documents

  • Demonstrated proficiency of math and analytical skills

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication while working in a team environment

Previous construction estimating experience is a must, additional experience navigating complex and lengthy sales cycles is preferred. Modular construction knowledge/experience is a plus. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work within a growing and dynamic global team.</p><p><strong>Key Qualifications</strong></p><ul> <li>B.S. degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent field experience.</li> <li>Minimum of six (6) years of commercial construction experience with a minimum of four (4) years of estimating experience.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Quick Bid and On-Screen Takeoff <strong>Required</strong> </li> <li>Capability to complete large CM/GC, CMaR, and Design-Build projects and large, complex, competitive bid projects.</li> </ul><p><br></p><p>As a Sr. Construction Estimator, you are responsible for evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that the company knows everything required to bid and win the project successfully.
