Construction Project Manager

Digifabshop Albany , NY 12202

Posted 2 months ago

Digifabshop's mission is to Explore Makinghow things were made in the past, how they are being made now, and how we can help make them better in the future.

Our clients are leading architects, retailers, tech companies, restaurants, developers, contractors and artists. They choose us because they know we'll push the boundaries of what's possible.

To further our mission and continue our growth, we need a Senior Project Manager to coordinate and execute challenging projects ranging in size from art installations to prefabricated structures to multi-unit rollouts for national chains.

You'll be a crucial member of the Project Management team, upholding Digifabshop's reputation as the go-to fabrication shop for projects that are uniquely complex in their design and build.

The position can be partially remote. As a project manager, a presence in and connection to the shop in Albany, NY is critical, but otherwise, work from home, or in our Brooklyn office, is fine.

If you love bringing order to chaos and you manage vendors and timelines like you're conducting the New York Philharmonic, let's talk.

  • Thrive on complexity.
  • Commitment to data-driven continuous improvement.
  • Thorough understanding of materials, assemblies, and fabrication methods for commercial architectural interiors.
  • Demonstrated experience in architectural, shop, and fabrication drawing review and production.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects in the AEC industry.
  • Prior experience in custom architectural fabrication preferred.
  • Outstanding motivation and drive to complete projects on time and on budget.
  • Excellent judgement and creative problem solving skills.
  • Background in architecture/engineering and a keen design sensibility is a plus.

For benefits, we offer paid time off, paid holidays, health, vision, dental, flex spending, gym reimbursement, and 401k with company match.

For culture, we offer the unusual: early Fridays, parties worth being at, Community Supported Agriculture shares, and a team of radically unique people who love working together in Hudson and Albany, NY, just two hours north of New York City.
