Operating out of Herndon, VA, they specialize in large-scale, multi-million dollar projects across three main divisions:

Base Building (Warehouses, Data Centers/Mission Critical Work, Core and Shell), Self-Performing Concrete, and Corporate Interiors. They proudly serve the Northern Virginia and D.C. Metro area, maintaining a strong reputation for quality and integrity.

Job Description My client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with substantial experience in the construction industry, particularly in commercial interior renovations. Project Planning : Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets. Documentation and Reporting : Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and daily logs.

Prepare regular progress reports for senior project managers and stakeholders. Budget Management : Monitor project expenses, assist in the preparation of budget forecasts, and ensure project costs remain within the approved budget. Client Communication : Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or questions.

Safety Compliance : Ensure all project activities comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations. Conduct safety audits and address any safety concerns immediately. Risk Management : Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with the project manager.

Problem-Solving : Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project life cycle, including technical problems, scheduling conflicts, and resource shortages. The Successful Applicant At least 2 years of related experience Commercial interior renovation project experience Experience in data center, warehouse/mission critical work & core and shell projects Excellent management skills in budgets, schedules, and resources effectively Ability to coordinate and lead diverse teams, including contractors, architects, and engineers.
