Construction Project Manager – Commercial Construction - Base Salary of 120k/year – Charlotte, NC

• Our client is a specialty building products manufacturer who provides solutions for multifamily and hospitality projects. They are known for creating smart, architecturally significant systems that can address all application challenges while simplifying the purchasing and installation process experience for dealers, contractors and property owners alike.
• They are currently looking for a Construction Project Manager who will be an integral part of the team. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of assigned building construction projects and supervision of the field staff on job sites throughout the North and South Carolina regions.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews project plans and specifications and makes recommendations regarding scheduling and potential cost-saving measures as well as construction problems
• Prepares, monitors, and maintains project schedules
• Expedites all submittal drawings and approvals
• Prepares and expedites project deficiency lists
• Monitors and expedites all change order costs
• Supervises site safety and ensures that OSHA requirements are met and enforced
• Maintains and enforces good construction standards and quality control
• Schedules and reviews field measurement of scope items and any special installation requirements
• Attends jobsite meetings to raise and discuss relevant issues as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 3+ years as a key player on construction projects OR 7+ years of related work experience
• Proven ability to read and comprehend construction submittals, blueprints, work orders, and other instructions
• Knowledge of construction terms, scheduling, and concepts
• Supervisory experience
• Ability to work autonomously from a home office as well as traveling among the North and South Carolina region 50% of the time
• Comfortable with heights

Compensation:

• Base salary to 120k/year plus bonuses
