We specialize in residential, commercial, and industrial projects, and were seeking a skilled Construction Controller to join our dynamic team. Job Summary The Construction Controller will oversee all financial operations of construction projects, including budgeting, financial reporting, and audits. This role is crucial in ensuring the overall successful completion of construction projects, meeting budgetary goals, and managing insurance programs. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, and a background in the construction industry. Responsibilities

• Invoicing, A/R, A/P, Job costing, oversee collections with accounting, management of project funding, oversee documentation signing, oversee job management system.

• Oversee insurance programs and related compliance tasks

• Prepare and present monthly financial statements with accounting

• Research technical accounting and insurance claim issues

• Support month-end and year-end job close out processes

• Able to present and participate in weekly meetings

• WIP and FLASH reports

• Assist project management with budgeting for jobs and budget management

• Management of transactions for jobs in progress and job costing

• Assist with management of admin staff in daily operations

• Communications with management, project managers, admin, and other parties on daily basis

• Additional controller duties as necessary; presented upon hiring Qualifications

• 5 years experience as a Controller or equivalent

• Microsoft or Google Suites

• Experience in the construction industry is a plus

• Knowledge of accounting procedures is a plus

• Experience with creating financial statements

• Experience with insurance programs is a plus

• Prior use and experience with job management systems, administration skills

• Strong leadership and management skills, self starting, professional phone etiquette
