Construction Project Coordinator

Job Description Summary

Responsible to coordinate and assist with various project types in a multi-regional support function to Real Estate Developers, Coordinators, and Client Leadership.

Job Description

  • Support staff responsible for specific sites to identify requirements, prepare schedules, and coordinate deal packages

  • Develop new and grow existing relationships with client(s), vendors, landlords, and other retail users

  • Track and monitor the day-to-day transaction and project work and workload of team members

  • Coordinate with account leadership to ensure tracking and reporting of client(s) deliverables

  • Manage, review, and approve deal package material

  • Coding Invoices and taking appropriate follow up on payment status

  • Adhere to all state real estate agency requirements

  • Provide suggestions and best practices for process and technical improvements relating to the transaction process

  • Identify potential issues and take action accordingly

  • Manage or execute special projects, as assigned

  • Provide high level of customer service to client(s) and vendors

  • Participate in transaction evaluations (due diligence reviews) and assist with preparation of REC materials and site tour materials

  • Issue regular status reports to personnel regarding projects in progress

  • Perform related assignments, as required, in the daily operation of the group

Requirements and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1+ years relevant work experience or any similar combination of education and experience

  • Solid familiarity with and understanding of lease language and terms, the reconciliation process for Common Area Maintenance, insurance, and real estate taxes

  • Proficiency in all applicable software/hardware applications, including a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Strong financing, budgeting, and pro forma modeling skills

  • Demonstrated leadership, self-management, and problem resolution skills

  • Ability to manage, review, and approve a large volume of transaction packages

  • Proven record of providing exceptional internal and external customer service

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and reflect a sense of urgency by meeting or exceeding deadlines
