Construction Project Assistant 

Blaine, MN | Direct Hire | $60k - $80k 

We seek a dedicated Project Assistant to support the planning, coordination, and execution of HVAC/Plumbing construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves assisting the Project Manager in ensuring project schedules, resources, and budgets are effectively managed, and project milestones are achieved.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in creating detailed project schedules, ensuring timelines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on milestones and potential risks.
• Support in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Participate in project meetings, offering valuable input to resolve issues and enhance project efficiency.

Background and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Previous experience in construction projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing project requirements.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other relevant software is advantageous.
