Construction Project Administrator

Job Description Job Description Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer with a proven track record for leadership to join our team.

Project Engineers own a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects. With BCM Group, Inc. A Project Engineer is responsible for preconstruction planning, budgeting, coordination, and bidding, as well as managing post-construction warranty, administrative tasks, and field operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction or civil engineering and possess excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities Preconstruction: Schedule Development: Lead preconstruction CPM schedule input/development in collaboration with the Construction Management Team.

Project Organization: Analyze and organize project warranty, submittals, general conditions, and material lead-time requirements. Bid Proposal Review:

Collaborate with the Business Development Team to review and analyze bid proposals, ensuring accuracy and scope of work. Active Construction: Contract Tracking:

Ensure timely execution and tracking of contracts. Warranty Work: Establish protocols for warranty work with clients and facilitate timely resolutions.

Deficiency Management: Collect and advise on the resolution of deficiencies to optimize performance and promote enhanced team synergy. Payable Processing:

Process general conditions payables. Contractor Compliance:

Monitor compliance of contractors and vendors.

Invoice Coordination: Coordinate and process invoices with clients and contractors. Procurement & Scheduling:

Manage procurement and coordination with the project schedule, ensuring alignment with submittals and quality control. Conflict Resolution: Assemble teams for conflict resolution.

Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate subcontractor installations, material deliveries, and inspection requests. Document Control & Compliance:

Manage as-built documentation, RFI process, submittals, LEED compliance, and drive conflict resolution. Risk Management: Assist in risk management, including bond and insurance compliance, building permits, and SWPPP monitoring.

Project Closeout : Oversee project closeout activities, including register development, O&M manuals, warranties, commissioning, and training. Leadership and Management: Communication: Exhibit effective verbal and written communication.

Mentorship : Act as a mentor and role model. Relationship Management: Manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
