Construction Owners Representative

The Construction Owner's Representative will serve as a key liaison between the client and all stakeholders involved in a luxury retail construction build out to include office space, a luxury lobby, a clean room for their service department, and other common areas + bathrooms. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of construction processes, architectural/design, and client relations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact between the client and all project stakeholders.

• Oversee and manage the entire construction process, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.

• Coordinate and facilitate communication between architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors.

• Monitor construction progress, conduct site visits, and address any issues or concerns promptly.

• Review construction plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.

• Provide regular updates and reports to the client on project status, budget, and schedule.

• Manage change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation.

• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and industry best practices.

• Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process.

• Collaborate with the client to identify and address any design or construction changes.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques.

• Familiarity with luxury retail standards and requirements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in luxury retail or commercial construction.

• Working knowledge of Architectural/Design Processes

• Previous experience working as an owner's representative or similar role is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.

• Certification in project management or construction management is a plus.
