Job Summary

We are looking for a Construction & Facilities Operations Associate to join our athena

Environment team within the Finance division. In this role, you will be responsible for the organization, scheduling, budgeting and monitoring construction projects for athenahealth across all geographies. But enough about us; let's talk about you.

You have business acumen along with strong organizational and communication skills. You can work as a member of a team, but you're also able to own projects and manage them to completion.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the management of budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement and construction correspondence on a daily basis

  • Coordinate with internal functions such as Property Management, Legal, and Finance

  • Review contracts and organize the span of work for design professionals, construction managers, owner vendors and more

  • Oversee all budgets, generate Purchase Orders and ensure that projects are properly procured, and deadlines are met

Typical Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Engineering, Building Services (Construction Management) or similar field

  • 2+ years of construction management experience or the equivalent

  • Exposure to facilities and space planning a plus

  • Experience with construction drawings, specifications, and contracts

  • High attention to detail in a deadline driven environment

  • Ability to multitask, shift focus as needed and respond quickly to changing demands
