Job Description Office Manager/Accountant: Location : On - site Monday thru Friday in Colorado Springs, CO Why is position open?

Current Office Manager/Accountant handles day to day accountin g functions as well as some finance projects - this person is wanting to cut back hours and retire within 2 - 4 ye ars or so . Company uses outside CPA for taxes. What does the position look like at the beginning and 5 years into empl oyment ? The position is intended to start as an Assistant to the current Office Manager/Accou ntant - they will learn the ropes of the company while also training under the Owner who acts as C FO. Overtime , the current Office Manager/Accountant will basically become the Ass istant to the Office Manager /Accountant as she cuts down on hours - the new Office Manager/Accountant at this time will be comfortable running day to day accounting functions as well as future finance projects . W h at are the non - negoitables for this position ? • Applicant must have strong Accounting Background ( reports , payroll, billings , AP/AR, etc) as they will be assistin g in these almost immed iat ely • Knowledge of accrual s entries , inventor y entries, & close - out is very important • Must be proficient in Quickbooks • Construction experience What are the preferred qualifications? • Accounting Degree • Prior Controller experience • Finance Forecasting • Cash needs If this sounds like you, please reach out and send your resume to Tim Hill tim.hillgogpac.com .
