Construction Materials Technician

Description:

We are looking for a construction materials technician to assist with soil and concrete testing here in the Louisville area. This position will be a great for anyone that has interest in growing their career in construction/engineering, and collecting certifications along the way!

Responsibilities:

• Perform standard testing on materials to ensure the material meets the required specifications

• Obtain and/or prepare samples of materials for testing.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Properly maintain all testing equipment used

• Assists other technicians as necessary to meet project time frames.

• Ability to lift 75lbs on a regular basis.

• Relays all testing information and data to Field Manager.

Concrete testing, soil sampling

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves:

1 years of Field Experience

Preferably someone with a (Soils) or ACI Certification

Nice to Have:

Associates or Bachelors degree in (Materials Sciences, Geology, environmental, Civil Engineering degree)

Will look at students out for summer break

Experience Level:

Entry Level
