Construction Materials Technician

Description:

We are looking for an experienced (1+ years) construction materials technician to join a growing team! This position will offer a lot of opportunity for growth and ability to acquire new CMT certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform standard testing on materials to ensure the material meets the required specifications

• Obtain and/or prepare samples of materials for testing.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Properly maintain all testing equipment used

• Assists other technicians as necessary to meet project time frames.

• Ability to lift 75lbs on a regular basis.

• Relays all testing information and data to Field Manager.

Top Skills Details:

Concrete testing, soil sampling, aggregate testing, ACI testing

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Have:

1 years of Field Experience

Prefer:

(Soils) or ACI Certification

Associates or Bachelors degree in (Materials Sciences, Geology, environmental, Civil Engineering degree)

Will look at students out for summer break

Experience Level:

Entry Level
