GFA International is currently seeking a Construction Materials Quality Control Manager to join our team in Fort Myers, FL.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for all FDOT employees.

  • Maintaining FDOT Project Log Books.

  • Ensure technicians are conducting testing and inspections per contract documents.

  • Ensuring LIMS C-22 cards are submitted and correctly filled out.

  • Ensure LIMS Data is entered timely and correctly.

  • Field Training to ensure quality technicians are in the field.

  • Project estimates and managing project profitability.

  • FDOT Project Management both technical and financial.

  • Business development.

  • Special Projects as assigned.

  • Oversee QC field personnel.

  • Maintain field supplies and equipment.

  • Order supplies when necessary.

  • Maintain equipment calibrations.

  • Review activity sheets.

  • Approve payroll and time off requests in payroll system (FDOT Technicians).

  • Schedule next day jobs and give starting times to all FDOT technicians.

  • Client support.

  • Able to confer with client in participation with proper department and resolve any question or concerns in a timely manner.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • ACI - Concrete Field Technician Level 1

  • ACI - Strength Testing Technician

  • Nuclear Density Gauge Radiation Safety Training

  • CTQP Earthwork Level 1 and 2

  • CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level 1

  • CTQP Paving Level 1 and 2

  • CTQP Quality Control Manager

Qualifications * High-school diploma or G.E.D. * FDOT Specification Certification. * Earthwork Construction Inspection Level 1 Certification. * Previous experience working with concrete is preferred. * Communication skills and ability to read/interpret documents. * Ability to lift/move at least 50 pounds.
