Overview

Associate is responsible for assisting in the supervision, coordination and management of all assigned residential construction.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining job schedules

  • Inspects and enforces job safety requirements

  • Completes 'punch lists' and assists in completion of new home orientation lists.

  • Attend construction meetings and training classes as scheduled

  • Ensure job site cleanliness and assists in completion of model/inventory maintenance

  • Assists in areas of service related issues

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • College Degree or equivalent experience required

  • Construction Experience not necessary

  • Must be able to work in a fast -paced, team-oriented setting

  • Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills

  • Computer literacy and proficient in MS Office products (Word and Excel)

  • Valid Driver's License with good driving record

  • Valid Auto Insurance Coverage

For more about us, please visit our website at <strong>www.pathcc.com.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties for an Assistant Project Manager include:</strong> </p><ul> <li>General Contract and Subcontract administration</li> <li>Monitor and document jobsite safety and accident prevention</li> <li>Construction Scheduling</li> <li>Material &amp; Equipment – procurement and expediting</li> <li>Process RFI’s<ul> <li>Receive</li> <li>Review</li> <li>Submit</li> <li>Log</li> </ul> </li> <li>Shop drawing and submittal review and coordination</li> <li>Project cost review, reporting, updating and accounting</li> <li>Review of subcontractor applications for payment</li> <li>Participation in and documentation of project coordination meetings</li> <li>Supervision and coordination of subcontractors’ field installations</li> <li>Review and negotiate change proposal pricing from subcontractors</li> <li>Prepare change proposals </li> <li>Change order documentation and associated cost reporting and maintenance</li> <li>Research and suggest options on construction means, methods and equipment</li> <li>Quality control</li> <li>Project Closeout</li> <li>Implement all applicable Safety Programs and EEO/Affirmative Action Programs on the Project</li> </ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>A 4 year degree in Building Contruction, Engineering, or a related field</li> <li>2+ years of building and construction management experience</li> <li>OSHA Site Safety Experience</li> <li>Up-to-date with modern technology and display excellent communication skills</li> <li>General knowledge of construction principles/practices required</li> <li>Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment and grow the company</li> <li>Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel may be required</li> <li>Working knowledge of project management process and software.
