The Construction Management Project Controls Coordinator is responsible for the accounts payable and invoice accounting function for all Construction Management projects. Provides oversight for the day-to-day administrative operations of the Construction Management (CM) office. Supports Medical Planners and Construction Project Managers as needed. Works collaboratively with the department Project Coordinator (PC) and select outside vendors.
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED for the position:
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
4 years of experience in a responsible position in the construction administration field focused on the financial aspects
Experience in A/P and preparation of financial statements
Ability to work successfully with design professionals, contractors, vendors, physicians, patients, general public and co-workers in a courteous, cooperative and understanding manner.
DESIRED for the position:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
Experience and/or training in healthcare construction administration
Experience working around active construction sites
Experience with public bidding and public agencies processes and regulations
Experience working with PeopleSoft Finance
Experience creating forms and marking up documents using PDF software (BlueBeam or Adobe Pro)
