Construction Inspector

Based in New York City, our firm is made of engineers, technologists, environmental scientists, construction professionals, and consultants who are passionate about improving the infrastructure, buildings, and communities that surround us.About the Role:EnTech seeks a dedicated and experienced professional with experience installing pedestrian ramps to join our team as a “Construction Inspector” in Manhattan, with some site visits in the Bronx. He/she will maintain precise records of daily activities and the condition of the site on a day-to-day basis for various projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Daily inspection and supervision of the installation of pedestrian ramps to DDC  regulations and standards.
• Reviewing contractor schedules, monitoring operations, and supervising field construction activities to ensure everything meets the required standards.
• Implement quality assurance and Site safety measures to make sure the construction site is safe for workers, as well as traffic and pedestrians. 
• Keep accurate records of inspections along with preparing detailed daily technical reports.
• Work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and regulatory utility agencies to make sure project goals are met.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 2-5 years of work experience in the installation of Ped-Ramps.
• DDC Watermain Training
• OSHA 10 Certification
• A positive attitude and good work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to commute to job sites in Manhattan and the Bronx

Estimated Annual Compensation:
