Construction Information Systems Intern Job Description

The scope of our work includes but is not limited to Progressive Build, tool install and new factories and site infrastructure. We are looking for a Summer Information Systems intern to develop and improve our information/data storage systems. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: building, configuring and fixing SharePoint sites, security groups, permissions, and settings, web site development and maintenance, shared drive set up and maintenance, etc.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's or 1st year Master's degree in Information Systems or Information Technology

  • This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Junior or senior level for Bachelor's degree.

  • First year level for Master's Degree
    3 months to 1 year of experience in:

  • Application of sound engineering principles and technical problem solving.

  • Microsoft Application Expert for data storage and repository management (Sharepoint, Inside Blue, share Drive)

  • Construction focus degree with emphasis on data management and information systems
