What is a Construction Help Desk Specialist?

Cinemark is currently seeking a Construction Vendor Support Specialist to join the Construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing facilities service work requests from our theatres. In addition, the Construction Vendor Support Specialist will be the point of contact for on-boarding new vendors.

A Day in the Life of a Construction Help Desk Specialist:

  • Manage theatre facilities service request through Service Channel System

  • Prioritize theatre service request, and assign vendor for work order

  • Oversee, and analysis of specific construction trade service request cost and service performance

  • Follow up with theatre management to ensure the quality of work was performed to meet expectations

What You Will Need to Have:

  • Facilities maintenance / construction experience and/or education an asset

  • Theatre operation knowledge and experience

  • Excellent customer service with a positive attitude

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Superior problem-solving and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Flexible work schedule as needed

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Job Summary: Job Summary This position will be responsible for the resolution of claims of low to moderate complexity and exposure. The position will have responsibility for decision making within their authority and work under general direction from their manager. Job Responsibilities * Confirms coverage of claims by reviewing policies and documents submitted in support of claims * Analyzes coverage and communicates coverage positions * Conducts, coordinates, and directs investigation into loss facts and extent of damages * Directs and monitors assignments to experts and outside counsel * Evaluates information on coverage, liability, and damages to determine the extent of insured's exposure * Sets reserves within authority or makes claim recommendations concerning reserve changes to manager * Negotiates and settles claims either directly or indirectly * Prepares reports by collecting and summarizing information * Adheres to Fair Claims Practices regulations * Participates in special projects or assists other team members as requested * Travel to mediations, trials, and conferences as required Education * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Certification * Must have or be eligible to receive claims adjuster license. * Successful completion of basic insurance courses or achievement of industry designations (INS, IEA, AIC, ARM, SCLA, CPCU) Work Experience * Minimum of 2-3 years of claims handling experience or equivalent combination of education and experience * Knowledge of insurance industry or claims handling preferred Skill Sets * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Strong organization and time management skills * Ability to deliver outstanding customer service * Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word) * Ability to work in a team environment * Strong desire for continuous improvement "Why work for us?"
