About This Opportunity
As a Field Engineer at Rockford Construction, you will provide support to Superintendents at an industrial construction jobsite in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Field Engineers provide interpretation of plans and specifications for contractors and suppliers. You will assist in the coordination of subcontractors to monitor work performances, progress, safety and productivity. In addition, you will review, analyze and resolve field construction issues, discrepancies and clarifications with A/E firm, owner and/or trade contractor. You will work closely with owners procurement to ensure on time completion of projects.

The work environment for this position may subject the individual to hazards commonly associated with construction sites. Examples of physical hazards include noise, proximity to moving vehicles, atmospheric conditions, close quarters, uneven surfaces, and elevated surfaces. The individual may also be subjected to outside environmental conditions (weather) where protection may not be available. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times outside the job trailer. Occasional lifting of 50 lbs. or less.
