Our integrated full-service solutions leverage a 100-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter.</p><p>Summary</p><p>It is the responsibility of the Manager - Safety Field Ops to work with the Branch General Manager and Operations Manager on risk management safety and loss control issues. Enforce Freeman safety and loss prevention policies. Being part of the Freeman team, you join us in making moments that matter.</p><p>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Perform the safety function at our facilities including conducting branch monthly audits, maintaining the abatement log at our facilities and at show sites identify existing or potential loss prevention opportunities using show site observation tools, etc.</p></li><li><p>Utilize our automated loss prevention tools for incident reporting and hazard identification etc.</p></li><li><p>Participate in accident investigation of and cooperate in the preparation of material and evidence for organization use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations.</p></li><li><p>Work with Human Resources and Operations to ensure compliance with government regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, and DOT) and company policies (e.g., drug testing)</p></li><li><p>Compile and submit accident reports required by regulatory agencies</p></li><li><p>Maintain all local risk management files and records</p></li><li><p>Maintain DOT files and monitor compliance with the vehicle user guidelines (work with our corporate director of DOT compliance)</p></li><li><p>Comply with the Freeman corporate fire loss prevention standards, including the self-inspection program.</p></li><li><p>Assist corporate security on initial investigations and gathering of records when requested.</p></li><li><p>Assist corporate director of business continuity planning as requested.</p></li><li><p>Consult with all departments on design and use of equipment, shops, fire prevention and safety program</p></li><li><p>Oversee local Work comp claims from initial filing through closure, assisting adjusters and defense attorneys as needed.</p></li><li><p>Assist customers with filing claims for alleged damage or loss, investigating and following up with adjusters as needed.</p></li><li><p>File all MVA claims for the branch, assisting adjusters with investigations as needed.</p></li><li><p>Supervise part-time Safety Coordinators.</p></li><li><p>Perform other duties as assigned.</p></li></ul><p>Education &amp; Experience</p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; or three to four (3-4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience</li></ul><p>Travel Requirements</p><p>Travel 50% to 75%</p><p>Diversity Commitment</p><p>At Freeman, our commitment to diversity and inclusion is helping us to create not only a great place to work, but also an environment where our employees, our customers and our communities around the world can reach their goals and connect with each other.
